Lead and Never Follow: A Customer Centric Company Culture Is Redefining How Dallas Communicates!

Houston, Texas. HCI, a wireless communications integrator of voice, video and data solutions, announces its acquisition of Dallas based, Blair Communications Inc. (“Blair”). HCI will obtain Blair’s assets and the merged business will operate under the HCI brand. The acquisition is effective February 15, 2019.

Blair Communications is an Authorized Dealer for Motorola, Vertex Standard, Kenwood, and other electronic products that was created in 1976 by Janet Blair who saw the need for Two-Way radio communications at a golf tournament to improve their productivity. In 1986 Janet sold Blair Communications to Joseph Blair and subsequently incorporated in the state of Texas in 1990.

“Expansion into the Dallas-Fort Worth area is another milestone in our development strategy to better serve our growing customer base” said Keir Johnson, President, and CEO of HCI. “This will further expand the technical and sales resources at the disposal of both branches, and enhance the training and development for the existing team in Dallas”

Mr. Johnson will work with his management team through the transition to a single company. The headquarters will remain in Houston, Texas. HCI’s own Max Williams will oversee the day to day integration of Blair into the HCI family and culture as the General Manager in Dallas.
